Where did you go on your Tiger today?
« on: March 31, 2013, 11:44:55 AM »
This topic is for posting brief details of your day trips/ride outs and basically where you went on your bike.

By all means post some pics if you have some.

Details about big trips and tours should be posted in a separate dedicated topic in the Tiger Tails  section  :016:

35 miles to work and 35 back. Dry weather and roads, it'll be the best bit of my day.

Great weather for Easter makes a change as usually wet here.  Coaxed my son-in-law to get out and about and did a quick run through Bunya Rd then down through Clear mountain and out to Dayboro then up Mt Mee for a coffee at the "Pit Stop" caf.  Enjoyed the view over the Brisbane valley then a quick run back down Mt Mee and around through Petrie to Bullocky rest and back through Samford to home.  Brilliant clear day and gave the Tiger it's first decent run since getting back from Phillip Island.

Took him out to lings at Harleston, where they sell all the world of Triumph clothing. Picked up a Cheap Triumph textile jacket( my other one seems to have shrunk while it's been hanging up over winter )

Picked up Tiger last night after 12k service and today had a ride up the Northumberland Coastal Route to Seahouses and had fish n chips for lunch--yum, lovely warm sunny day, the first time I have been warm on a bike for months

First ride out with newly installed Madstad screen and yes its certainly true--what a difference -- no buffeting and I have not really tried set it up yet, heard a unfamiliar noise at 70-80 mph it was the engine, first time I have heard it at that speed. I am now a Madstad fan
