Shouldn't take more than half an hour if you arrange a time with the dealer. Cheers

My bike went in for its first 6000 service this week and (unprompted) they told me that there was a recall on the bike for the indicator stems. They ordered the bits and showed me an unbroken stem that had been taken off someone's Tiger to explain the modified parts. It seems that the new parts have a larger bush to prevent the arm from fracturing. It is just the stem that is replaced, not the indicator itself. I'll be getting it done next weekend.

Popped in to dealer for some new gloves and they did mine while I waited.Top service.
They have changed about 30 sets since November on various models.Only 3 had actually failed or looked like failing

Mine were replaced today while the 6k service was being done. As Rodders has said they only replace the black stems. both mine broke within a month last September, one as I brushed the side of the bike and the other when a bicycle handlebar lent on it but I had to buy new parts then

mjab if you had to pay for replacement stems when they broke then you should be able to get a refund I would have thought?

My dealer ran my vin number and no recall for my Tiger 800xc 2012.
I guess the newer Tigers are affected.
