I took delivery of a new tiger last week. I asked about the indicator stems and the dealer said he'd done them already. It seems a supplier was moulding them with the wrong grade plastic. Visually they look the same to me.

Yep, got the recall letter yesterday.   :046:

Phoned the local dealer in Edinburgh - he can't even look at it for at least 4 weeks!  :006:

Received a letter from Triumph at Hinkley last week, have contacted my dealer and they say that the stems will be replaced at my next service which seemed a little strange as the letter says to get them replaced without delay.
Oh well, my 12 Month service is due in June so not too much of a delay I suppose, cannot see anything wrong with the original stems though ?

TBH it's a pretty marginal recall. My original stems were very slightly 'floppy' but I doubt they would have failed except if caught on something.
