Some info in this thread:

To avoid embarrassment, please note that downloadable pdf versions (links or otherwise) of any official manuals are not allowed on the forum for copyright reasons. Members offering such material will be banned.

Also you can purchase an original manual written by the chap at MarksMororcycleParts. It's not a Triumph manual but one he produced himself. I understand it's a decent manual for the price. Doesn't cover 2017 models but much would be the same.

Is this manual for the '10 to '14 models?

Anybody aware of the differences on the '15 to '17 models regards servicing?

I have a feeling that he wrote the manual in 2014 using his own 2014 bike which is why it's listed like that.

Could well have changes since but I'm not sure

Does say on the website 'Does not yet include the XCx, XR and XRx models.'

I have emailed the site asking if there is a version planned for later models, >2014.

Hoping the reply is a YES as I have looked at these and would buy if it was updated.

It's a NO, I just got a reply off Mark. Or should I have said, it sounds like a NO.

Here's his reply:

Hi Paul,

The T800 manual hasnít been updated for your bike, however: The differences lie in the fact that your camshafts have adjustable sprockets just like the 1200. The earlier 800s had fixed sprockets. At the 12000 mile service you measure and if necessary adjust the sprockets to set the timing. Whilst the 800 book doesnít cover this, my 1200 book does. Everything else is identical between your XRx and the earlier T800 ABS.

Setting the timing is only necessary at the first 12000 service, not at 24000, 36000 and so on. Checking the valve clearances is now a 12000 mile job whereas when I wrote the book originally Triumph were quoting it as a 6000 mile job.

The method of measuring the clearances, and removing / replacing the cams is unchanged between your bike and the earlier T800 models.

Hope this helps,

Mark

I suspect he does them on bikes that he's owned and he's since moved on to other machinary...  :038:
