Title: Got and new seat for longer distance riding
Post by: Linc on May 03, 2021, 12:39:29 AM
I got the Sargent seat front and rear on before my first ride this year. Very nice but hope it breaks in.

I had the Sargent seats on both mt Tigers(not at the same time  :001:) and think its the best for distance there is , rider seat shape "spreads the load" , no pain.. :152:

Managed to get mine from a forum member and best accessory I've invested in. I have done numerous 6-8hr continuous rides, with only a short 10mins roadside stop for a bottle of drink and snack, with none of the standard seat cramp issues and standing on the pegs trying to stretching and ease my legs after 3hrs.  :028:

I have a Sargent on my Tiger much better for me than the stock seat.

It sound like Iím in the minority here but never got on with my Sargent seat on my previous bike. I did have the low version so that could have made the difference in comfort.

Sheepskin cover on standard seat does it for me, done 500 mile days fine.
