Title: New Owner from Melbourne
Post by: TDU on December 09, 2018, 07:52:40 AM
Evening all

Just went to register only to find out that I was already a member from 2011... :430:

Back then I tested an XCA and ended up buying a Yamaha XT660

Well fast forward 8 years and now I really do own a Tiger

Bought myself a 2018 XRx in Blue. Only had it for two days but I'm in love...

So - Hello to all.. I look forward to chatting with you all and have lots of questions.. that can wait for now..

Hello from Melbourne :152:

Welcome.
I did much the same thing. I test rode an early XC in 2011 and because PS bullshitted to me about there was never going to be ABS on a Tiger (when it had already been released in the UK) I did not buy. Never even sat on another Tiger till I picked my first one up in late 2014.

Welcome TDU.  Like you, I'm fairly new to this Triumph party and I'm in lurve with my 17 Tiger XRT too.  They really are a gorgeous bit of kit to ride and live with.

Enjoy the new love affair.
