Title: Modified Tiger 800
Post by: RuleBritannia on May 22, 2020, 10:22:12 PM
Hello people,

I'm new here and tried to post this a few weeks ago but couldn't create an account so this is on the triumph forums if anyone has already seen this and got a sense of DejaVu.

Anyhow, I thought that you guys might be interested.

For the last year or so I have been rebuilding my bike from the ground up (Engine and all) I've had the paintwork redone and all the powdercoated parts redone, It is essentially finished now barring a few small aesthetic pieces :156:,
I have added some photos from before the rebuild during and after, the image of the dash is mostly how it is now
(the cables have been tidied up)

Its good to be on here finally. :001:

Hi and :401:

Not sure if the 1st picture is the donor bike or rebuilt bike but I recognise in the later pictures the gen 2 Street Triple lights and flyscreen mod, the 1st time I've seen that done on a Tiger and (IMO) it works well. :028:

Thanks. The first image is the donor, I have had the bike for just over three years, the last year it has been in pieces. To fit the headlights i had to make a bracket using a part of the street triple headlight mount which can be screwed onto the original headlight mounts, I really hated the original screen and headlight combo.

Almost looks like a hypermotard with the street lights and cowl 👍🏼

Thanks, you know when I started I was worried about the flyscreen not working very well, I found that after fitting it the wind protection is actually better than the original screen for me.
