Title: Oil For My 800XC in Germany

Calling on those who service their Triumphs in Germany. I live in the US but I have a 2012 XC stored in Germany. It will need an oil change before I ride it again. (I hope Americans are welcome this fall) The place I store it only offers fossil oil. I have always used Castrol Power1 4T synthetic motorcycle oil. My intent is to order online from a German seller and have the oil delivered to the location where my bike is stored.

Question: Is there a preferred seller that offers motorcycle oil online at fair prices?

Also, if not Castrol, what would your preferred lubricant be?

I think I have answered my own question. When looking for Amazon in Germany, my phone app kept defaulting to US. At home on my PC, amazon.de gets me to what I need. I'm sure I can order the Castrol 10-W40 I normally use and have it delivered prior to arrival.

This coming fall, the bike will have been dormant for at least two years. Last ridden 27 June, 2019.

I hope someone replaced the fuel and or added stabilizer.

Stabilizer and German gas in it when I left it. I am planning a full day of maintenance when I go back. I am confident.

I think about my cousin's DL650 the last time we rode there. It had been parked three years with little gas and no stabilizer. It fired right up.

I had planned to return last spring in May. Damn Covid.

I bought a GSR that had been standing three years and only about 250 miles on it from new. It fired up straight away too and I bought it.

However, every time I got very low on fuel it would misfire horribly until I filled up again. Crap does build up, your cousin may have been lucky or may yet have problems if he still has the bike.  Or maybe German fuel is superior...  :002:
