Title: Tiger 900 RP: size of bolt to attach the horn?
Post by: ProfThunder on April 08, 2021, 06:37:48 AM
The bolt that attaches the horn onto my 900 RP fell off after 2.5k km. The horn is now hanging by the wires. Does anyone know the bolt size (M6, M8 ?) and the length? Is there a specific torque to make sure it doesnít just work loose again? Thanks.

If it's like the 800 it's an M8 from memory

Like he said^ ^M8, I had it in my hand last week, I'd guess 20mm long max. Stick a spring washer on it.

Edit: I'd make it 16mm to fit spring washer.

That is for the T800, we're guessing the 900 is same.
