You're quite right Adey. It's definitely got the XC rear shock.

Hi and welcome. Any Triumph Dealer can do a VIN check and tell you what your bike started life as and the date it was first warranty registered. Just need the last 6 digits. I can do it for you if you cant get to a Dealer.

Done a Vin check as you suggested and the bike is indeed a roadie in XC clothing!
